Timothy E. Derosier, age 65, of Kerkhoven and formerly of Minneapolis, passed away Thursday, April 15, at Carris Health Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 6, at Peterson Brothers Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Thursday. Arrangements are with Peterson Brothers Funeral Home.
Timothy was born on November 10, 1955, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the son of Frank and Kathleen (Crandall) Derosier. He grew up in NE Minneapolis and graduated from Minneapolis Edison High School in 1973. He owned and operated a used car dealership in Anoka, was later self-employed as an auto mechanic and then a manager of an apartment complex. In 2016, Timothy moved to Kerkhoven. His hobbies included muscle cars and motorcycles. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.
He is survived by two daughters, Amy (and Heriberto) Garcia of Clara City and Ashley VanVickle of Minneapolis; three grandchildren, Savannah, Samanta and Isauro; three siblings, Ann Marie Derosier and Shawn Corrigan, both of Minneapolis and Renae Derosier of California; one uncle Matthew "Scotty" (and Mary) Crandall of Buffalo, and his caregiver, Sandra Derosier of Kerkhoven, besides other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
