Alfred "Chuck" C. Anderson, age 88, of New London, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 8, at the Glen Oaks Care Center in New London.

Chuck was born on July 11, 1932, the son of Alfred and Gladys (Johnson) Anderson in Proctor, MN. He graduated from Two Harbors High School in 1950. He served 4 years in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. After the service he attended UMD, graduating with a degree in industrial engineering. In 1953, he married Joan Anders in Two Harbors. He retired from EcoWater Systems in Woodbury, MN.
He is survived by his wife, Joan of New London; two daughters, Connie (Dick Rees) and Beth; two siblings, Melvin Anderson and Helen Matthews, besides many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Jim Anderson.
