Todd Joseph Hanson

Todd J. Hanson, age 60 of Willmar, passed away unexpectedly on March 1, at his residence.

Todd Joseph Hanson was born on January 20, 1962, in Redwood Falls, Minnesota, the son of Harlin "Bud" and Shirley (Kramer) Hanson. Todd grew up in Willmar, graduated from Willmar High school in 1980 and went on to the Willmar VoTech in the auto mechanics program.  On November 15, 1986, Todd was united in marriage to Julie Christiansen.  To this union two daughters were born, Michele and Rebecca.  Todd and Julie were later divorced.  Todd was employed by Jennie-O Foods in Willmar for many years and later at Bobcat in Litchfield until 2010.

Todd is survived by two daughters, Michele (and Josh) Petersen of Belgrade and Rebecca (and Dylan) Arceneau of Alexandria; four grandchildren, Brayden and Madelynn Petersen and Myra and Kennedy Arceneau; a special niece, Andrea Hanson of Bethel and a sister-in-law, Carla ( and Jerry) Ditto.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Scott Hanson; his paternal and maternal grandparents and several aunts and uncles.
