Timothy "Tim" Scott Malvin was born December 31, 1955, in Willmar, Minnesota, to Patrick and Patricia (Sletten) Malvin. Tim grew up on the family farm near Blomkest. A true farm kid with a strong work ethic. On February 29, 1980, Tim was united in marriage to the love of his life, Peggy Ellen Wold. To this union they were blessed with three beautiful children, Scott, Kristen & Jami.

Tim was a jack of all trades, working most of his life in the agricultural industry and eventually starting his own business with his children, L & M Grain Construction. Tim developed many friendships throughout the years with his customers, traveling near and far. “If Tim couldn’t fix it, nobody could.” Tim was an exceptional boss and was someone everyone looked up to. His work was his passion in life.

Most of all, Tim was a humble, and kind man, a family man. Always up for the grandkids shenanigans and living vicariously through them, being a big kid himself. Tim always had an answer for everything and could give the best advice. Tim cherished the memories he made with his family every summer in the Black Hills four wheeling and winters he spent in Arizona with his wife, thrift shopping, visiting flea markets and trips to the casinos. Tim loved his Sunday Harley rides with his wife and kids. And stopping to visit friends any chance he could. Tim will be missed dearly; he was one of the good ones.

Tim leaves behind his beloved wife of 45 years, Peggy Malvin of Willmar; his three children, Scott (Brittany) Malvin of Spicer, Kristen (Scott) Lidbeck of Lake Lillian, Jami (Ricky) Kragenbring of Atwater; thirteen grandchildren, Tyler, Trent, Hunter, Carter & Berkley, Devynn (Spencer), Tanner, Alexa & Rilynn, Jayden (Addi), Jayce, Kylee & Kourtney; and one great granddaughter, Lyla. Also surviving are his siblings, Shawn (Lori) Malvin of Danube, Cathy Malvin of Danube, Robin (Carl) Stegeman of Trenton, GA., Mark Malvin of Willmar, and Sara (Murray) Peterson of Sacred Heart, besides many other relatives and friends.

Preceded in death is his parents, Patrick & Patricia Malvin; mother and father-in-law, Gennes & Ellen Wold; three sisters, Vicky Malvin, Barbara Wold & Michelle Malvin; brother-in-law, Randy Wold and grandson, Kasen Timothy Lidbeck.
