Obituary

On Thursday, April 23, 2026, the life of Tasha Lea Pickle, a resident of Willmar, MN, came to a peaceful end. Her 45 years were filled with an abundance of love and joy, and she was ready to meet her Savior.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at St. John Lutheran Church in Atwater, MN. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Arrangements are with Peterson Brothers Funeral Home.  www.petersonbrothers.com

Tasha was born on January 12, 1981, to Elden and Dorothy Pickle in Willmar, MN. She began schooling at six months of age, attending the DAC until 1984 in Atwater. Tasha was baptized and confirmed at St. John Lutheran Church, where she also took great pride in serving as an usher, acolyte, and kitchen helper. She graduated from Willmar High School with the Class of 2000. She was employed at Kandi Works and West Central Industries. She participated in Special Olympics bowling, swimming, basketball, and track and field.

Everyone was Tasha’s “brother,” “sister,” or “cousin,” whether you were related by blood or not. Tasha will be remembered for the joy and genuine love she shared with everyone she met. Over the years, she was an avid supporter of whatever activities her nieces and nephews were involved in.

The family would like to thank the many people who supported Tasha over the past few years, including the staff at Focus House, Chrysalis, and REM—especially Luanne, Desiree, Adam, Jaylen, and Tina.

Tasha is survived by her parents; her brothers, Craig (Kelly) Pickle, Brad (Chris) Pickle, and Michael (D’Lynn) Pickle; her sister, Lisa Kleinke; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.

“Well done, good and faithful servant… enter into the joy of your master.” Matthew 25:21
