Scott A. Feifarek, age 58, of Wasilla, Alaska, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, July 13, at his residence from natural causes.

Scott Allan Feifarek was born on April 22, 1963, in St. Paul, Minnesota, the son of Dennis and Jean (Pol) Feifarek. He grew up in the Blomkest community, was baptized and confirmed at Svea Lutheran Church and attended Willmar High School. Scott enlisted in the U.S. Army and served his country for two years. Following his service, he was employed at Jennie-O Foods. In 1999, Scott moved to Alaska and worked on oil fields on the North Slope and later as a welder.. In 2005, Scott began employment at the Tioga Gold Mine as a heavy equipment operator. In 2020, he retired due to health reasons. Scott was adventurous and enjoyed being outdoors. His hobbies included hunting, fishing and traveling.
He is survived by his father, Dennis Feifarek of Blomkest; one brother, Randy (and Shelly) Feifarek of Renville; one nephew, Cody Feifarek of St. Cloud; one niece, Jenna Feifarek of Elkton, SD.; one uncle, Byron Feifarek of Blomkest and one aunt, Shirley Ellingson of St. Paul, besides other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Jean in 2020; and his grandparents, Irvin & Elsie Feifarek and Bud & Leona Pape.
