My Le Reigstad

My Le Reigstad, age 74, of St. Cloud, passed away Saturday, September 19, at the Country Manor in Sartell.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, October 5, at the Living Hope E. Free Church in Willmar. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery. My Le was born on May 30, 1952, in South Vietnam, the daughter of Van Banh and Phat Anh Tran. She grew up and received her education in Saigon China Town. In 1980, she immigrated to the United States from a refugee camp in Malaisia. In April of 1983, she met Ronald Reigstad and on August 31, 1983, they were united in marriage. She worked as an LPN at the Willmar Nursing Home and later at Jennie-O Foods and the Willmar Cookie Company. On August 5, 1990, My Le gave herself to her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was a faithful member of the Willmar Evangelical Free Church (now Living Hope). She enjoyed church, bible study, and worshiping Jesus.

She is survived by her loving husband, Ron of St. Cloud; five children, Gia Hue (and Scott) Schendel of Minneapolis, Ron Reigstad Jr. of San Dimas, CA., Danny (and Myriam) Reigstad of Ontario, CA., John (and Jen) Reigstad of Clontarf and Chrisopher Reigstad of New London; eight grandchildren, Mia, Claire, Abigail, Olivia, Jonah, Jackson, Jaden and Jeremiah; and one brother-in-law, Rick (and Mary) Reigstad of New London, besides other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two siblings, Tieu Anh Chan and Linh Phoung.
