Milo was born on May 23, 1936, in Kerkhoven, Minnesota, to Ole and Judith (Hokanson) Myhre. He grew up in the Kerkhoven community and graduated from Kerkhoven High School in 1954. He attended Anderson College in Indiana, earning his degree in education, and later received his master’s degree in education from Mankato State College. Following his retirement in 1995, Milo and Robbie built a home on Lake Andrew, where they lived for many years. Milo continued to share his love of teaching at Ridgewater College in Willmar and Hutchinson. Milo enjoyed gardening, woodworking, and was a true do-it-yourself enthusiast. He loved socializing with people and had a deep passion for travel, enjoying both international adventures and road trips. Milo lived a full and blessed life.
Milo is survived by his loving wife, Robbie, of Cottage Grove; three children: Mark Myhre of Inver Grove Heights; Juliana “Jill” Myhre and her fiancé, James Baron, of Coon Rapids; and Sara and Jason Stadther of Cottage Grove; and three grandchildren, Makayla, Logan, and Liliana (Lily) Stadther, along with other relatives and friends.
