WILLMAR, MN.

Margie E. Stewart, age 90, of Willmar, died Wednesday evening, May 10th, at Bethesda Heritage Center in Willmar.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, May 13th, at the First Presbyterian Church (605 W. Litchfield Ave) with Rev. Richard Underdahl-Peirce officiating. The interment will be in the Cloverleaf Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the services. Arrangements are with the Peterson Brothers Funeral Home.
Margie Ernestine Stewart was born on June 11, 1915, in Ramona, South Dakota, the daughter of Lillian (Butts) and Frank Davis. She grew up in that area, attended school in Winfred and graduated from Madison High School in 1933. On December 26, 1938, she was married to William August Stewart and they made their home in Wilmont, South Dakota, until 1949 when they moved to Willmar and opened the Stewart Brothers Body Shop. They were business people in Willmar for many years owning and operating several businesses before their retirement. Margie was an active member of First Presbyterian Church and helped to organize the rummage sales. She was a member of the golf club and a member of several bridge clubs. She loved being with family and friends and enjoyed playing bridge, golf, crafting, going to rummage sales, fishing and being at their cabin on Diamond Lake.
She is survived by one son, Patrick (and Dianne) Stewart of Lakeville and one daughter, Nancy (and Gary) Syverson of Alexandria. Also surviving are five grandchildren; Kari (and Scott) Campbell, Jill Stewart, Jeff Stewart, Scott (and Brooke) Syverson and Jay (and Nikki) Syverson, one great granddaughter, Greta Grace Campbell, besides other relatives and friends. Margie was preceded in death by her parents, husband (William in 1982), two brothers (Ray and Grayson "Buzz" Davis) and one sister (Ramona Westphal).
