Marcia A. Ries, age 62, of Spicer, died Thursday evening, Nov. 22, at her residence in Spicer following an extended illness.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 28, at Green Lake Funeral Home in Spicer with Rev. Beverly Crute officiating. The interment will be in Roseville Cemetery in Hawick. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Marcia Anne Ries was born March 13, 1945 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the daughter of August and Mary (McNulty) Ries. She lived in Mankato and moved to Spicer in 1997. She worked at Kandiyohi Day Activity Center until her retirement in 2002. She enjoyed square dance music. She will be remembered for her playfulness.
