Louise Hanson

Louise M. Hanson, age 96, of Grove City, passed away Sunday evening, Jan. 3, at her residence.

A private family service will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Grove City with interment at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.  Arrangements are with the Peterson Brothers Atwater Funeral Home. www.petersonbrothers.com

Louise Mathilda Hanson was born on June 18, 1924, in Sauk Rapids, Minnesota, the daughter of Robert and Ursula (Schueller) Walz.  She grew up in Mayhew Lake and graduated from Foley High School in 1942.  On July 10, 1945, Louise was married to Murlen R. Hanson.  They lived in Cosmos and Litchfield before moving to Grove City.  She worked hard as a homemaker and was blessed with five children.  She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church of Grove City and a current member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her five children, Kathrine Tagtow of Delafield, WI., Thomas Hanson of Motley, David (and Linda) Hanson of Grove City, Mary (and Jerry) Weseman of Grove City and Larry (and Kristy) Hanson of Maple Lake; thirteen grandchildren and thirty two great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Murlen in 1984; and eight siblings.
