Linda May Cain was born on June 4, 1959, in Willmar, Minnesota, the loving daughter of Maynard and Donna (Erickson) Emberland.  She grew up in Willmar, graduated from Willmar High School in 1977 and attended the Willmar Vo-Tech.  On June 9, 1979, Linda was married to her high school sweetheart, Jeffrey Allen Cain.  They lived in Willmar, Rush City, Hinckley, and Hopkins before returning to Willmar in 2018. Linda worked as a waitress in Willmar at the Town Talk Café, Happy Chef, East Gate Café, and at the Rock Creek Café in Rock Creek.  Throughout her life Linda made an everlasting impact on everyone she came across because of her compassion and understanding. She was strong, courageous, determined, and always looked out for others however she could. In her free time she enjoyed playing bingo, jigsaw puzzles, painting, fishing, relaxing in the sun, and family get-togethers. She loved seeing everyone happy and sharing memories.

She is survived by and forever in the hearts of her family including her husband, Jeff; three children, Crystal (and Tom) Jones of Hopkins, Kimberly Gillis of Andover, and Kevin (and Melanie) Cain of Andover, six grandchildren TJ, Jaden, Hugh, Scotty, Jasmine, and Joey, and one great grandson Donald (Greyson).  Also surviving is her step-father, John Olson of Willmar, her brother, Bruce Emberland of Willmar and mother-in-law, Sharon Cain of Willmar, besides other relatives and friends.  Linda's spirit of love and heart full of compassion made an enormous impact on this world and everyone she came across.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Marilyn and Joan. Linda now continues to watch over us as an angel of God.
