LeRoy Daniel Trautner

LeRoy D. Trautner, age 74, of Hawick, passed away Wednesday, August 5, at Bethesda Grand in Willmar.

A celebration of LeRoy's life will be held from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday, August 16, at the O'Neil's Event Center in Spicer.  Arrangements are entrusted to the Peterson Brothers Green Lake Funeral Home in Spicer.  www.petersonbrothers.com

LeRoy spent his entire career in the construction trade as a heavy equipment operator.  He was an independent, confident, and witty man.  He was a good neighbor to all.  LeRoy loved the neighbor kids and made each one a chocolate cake for their birthday.

He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy Jensen; two daughters, Stacy Krogstad and Hailey Trautner; four sisters, Theresa Engle, Francy (and Jim) Gleason, Cathy (and Dick) Anderson and Cindy (and Dave) Bunde; besides many nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Chuck; and one sister, Darlene.
