Kter Htoo

Kter Htoo, age 45, of Willmar, passed away unexpectedly Sunday afternoon, September 7.

Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m. on Friday, September 12, at Grace Baptist Church.  Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery in Willmar.  Arrangements are entrusted to the Peterson Brothers Funeral Home.  www.petersonbrothers.com

Kter Htoo was born on April 4, 1980, in Maw Chi, Burma, the son of Eh Lay and Yeh Htoo.  He grew up and received his education in Burma.  On July 13, 2013, he was married to Gay Wah Paw.  In 2020, they came to the United States and made their home in Stone Mountain, Georgia.  He worked at Hansgrohes.  This past May they moved to Willmar and he worked at Jennie-O Foods.  Kter enjoyed watching boxing with his friends and family.

He is survived by his wife, Gay Wah Paw; three sons; his mother; two brothers and one sister, besides other family members.

He was preceded in death by his father; one sister and five still-born children.
