Milton was born in Lansing, Iowa to Leonard and Christine Sadd. His childhood in Lansing was often spent on the banks of the Mississippi River where he acquired his lifelong love of fishing.  Before his senior year of high school his family moved to a farm on Bee Creek in the small farming community of Bee near Spring Grove, MN.  After graduating from Spring Grove High School he worked at the canning factory in Rochester, but soon decided he should continue his education and went on to attend St. Olaf College.   It was there that he met his first wife, LaVonne.  Milton began medical school at the University of Iowa and later transferred to the University of Minnesota so he and LaVonne could marry and she could keep her job in Minneapolis.  Milton and LaVonne’s first child, Terri was born a few days before he graduated from medical school.   After completing his residency in the Twin Cities they decided to move to Willmar where they raised their four children. They were drawn to Willmar because of the many area lakes, and welcoming community. They were happily married for 39 years before LaVonnes death in 1997.

Milton became the first dermatologist in the Willmar area when he started his own practice in 1967. After four years he joined the Willmar Medical Center, where he worked until his retirement.  He always strove to treat his patients with as much care as possible.

Milton married Marcie O’Konek after they met at a widow and widower group.  During their 24 years together they enjoyed many of the same interests, such as traveling, golfing, bowling, and playing bridge.

He is survived by his wife Marcie; his children Terri (Rob) of Eden Prairie, Steve of Cheyenne, WY, Melanie of Forest Lake, Michael (Vanessa) of Austin, TX and 9 grandchildren, Jeff, Matt, Katie, Colby (Tayler), Weston, Cortlan, Jake, Lydia, and Ben and 3 great grandchildren, Addison, Conner and Rylie.  He is also survived by stepsons Doug (Tammy) of Carver, Greg (Michele) of Waconia, and Ken (Kari) of Chanhassen and their children.  He will be dearly missed.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, LaVonne, his parents, brother Donald and sister Mary and many friends.
