Diana Lee Sletta, age 79, of Willmar, passed away Tuesday afternoon, April 9, at CentraCare Rice Memorial Hospital.
Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. followed by the funeral service at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 19, at the Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar. Interment will be at Cloverleaf Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Peterson Brothers Funeral Home.

Diana Lee Sletta was born on August 3, 1944, in Willmar, Minnesota, the daughter of James and Gertrude (Woltjer) Hodak. She grew up in Willmar, graduated from Willmar High School in 62 and attended the Willmar Community College. Diana was employed as a case worker for Kandiyohi County for a brief time, then owned and operated a craft store with her sister, Joan and later was employed at Jennie-O Foods in Willmar for over 20 years, retiring in 2007. She enjoyed crafts, gardening, fishing, painting and being with family.
She is survived by three children, Scott Sletta of Moose Lake, Shane (and Carla) Sletta of Willmar and Monique Sletta (and her partner, Michael Scanlan) of Minneapolis; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters, Joan Stillday (and special friend, Leonard Germer) of Austin, Cindy (and Curt) Hamre of Mayville, ND., and Mary (and Mark) Nordby of Clear Lake; and three brothers, James (and Paula) Hodak of St. Cloud, Jeff (and Lori) Johnson of Willmar and David (and Tricia) Johnson of Sartell, besides other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Mark in infancy, and two sisters, Norma Hodak in infancy and Patricia Ekander.
