Dho Kho Meh

Dho Kho Meh, age 54, of Willmar, passed away Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 19, at Carris Health Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar following an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 25, at the Church of St. Mary. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are entrusted to Peterson Brothers Funeral Home. www.petersonbrothers.com

Dho Kho Meh was born on June 1, 1967, in Burma, the son of Saw Pue and Mya Meh. He lived his first 12 years in a refugee camp before coming to the United States. In 1997, Dho was married to Kweekaw and they lived in Texas and New York. Six months ago they moved to Willmar to be closer to family. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, singing and making music videos.

He is survived by his wife, Kweekaw Meh; four children, Kwar Nah (and Nay Htoo), Eh Malter, Eh Lergay and Kwee Dho; all of Willmar; three grandchildren and one sister, Nyo Tae of Benson.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
