Dennis Falk

Dennis V. Falk, age 82, of Sunburg, passed away Saturday, Nov. 28, at Mariam Manor Assisted Living in Sunburg.

A celebration of life and graveside service will be held at a later date in 2021 (following the COVID-19 pandemic). Arrangements are with the Peterson Brothers Sunburg Funeral Home. www.petersonbrothers.com

Dennis Virgil Falk was born on September 8, 1938, in Willmar, Minnesota, the son of Walter and Vera (Mattson) Falk. He grew up in Willmar was baptized and confirmed at Bethel Lutheran Church and graduated from Willmar High School in 1956. In 1962, Dennis graduated from St. Olaf College, earning a BA degree in Economics. He served as an officer in the U.S. Navy from October 1962 to October 1965. Following his military service, Dennis was employed as a salesman for Triple Crown in St. Cloud for many years and sold real estate. He was an active member of the Willmar V.F.W. Post, serving as the Post Commander and was active with the Willmar American Legion Post. His hobbies included hunting, fishing and golfing.  Dennis loved to dance, play card games and eat lutefisk.

He is survived by two siblings, Richard Falk (and his wife, Maxine Zempel) of Willmar and Jacquelyn Anderson of Bloomington; besides other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister-in-law, Audrey Falk.
