Constance Ann Caskey, age 68, of Pennock, died Wednesday morning, June 6, at Glen Oaks Care Center in New London.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 8, at the Church of St. Mary in Willmar. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Constance Ann Caskey was born on October 23, 1949, in St. Peter, Minnesota, the daughter of John and Josephine (Durenberger) Christian. She spent most of her childhood and elementary years in Henderson and graduated from Paynesville High School in 1967. On October 23, 1971, Constance was united in marriage to Michael Lynn Caskey. They made their home in the Willmar community where Constance was employed as a phone operator at Northwestern Bell, the Salvation Army Thrift Store and as a Human Service Technician at the WRTC. In 1989, they moved south of Sunburg. Constance was a member of the Church of St. Mary and the Everybody Needs Fatima organization. Her hobbies included gardening, attending garage sales, collecting antiques, planning family events, decorating and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Michael of Pennock; two children, Chris Caskey of Princeton and Stephanie Bruhnke of Ft. Collins, CO.; seven brothers; three sisters; numerous nieces and nephews, some of whom called her "grandma Connie," as well as other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Jim and Mark; and one sister, Cheryl.
