Christopher Danielson

Christopher Alan Danielson, age 48,  of Prior Lake and formerly of New Ulm, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 23, at his residence in Prior Lake.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 16, at the Rock Haven Church, 1858 US HWY 212 in Granite Falls.  Visitation is one hour prior to the service.  Arrangements are with Peterson Brothers Funeral Home.  www.petersonbrothers.com

Chris was born February 7, 1972 to Patricia Lou Ulenhopp (Tesdahl) and Rollin Charles "Chuck" Danielson in Sauk Centre, MN. Chris was a fighter from day one.  As a kid, Chris was a prankster and was always playing jokes on his family just like his "Ma." He cherished his time with his grandparents at their home. His family was a huge part of his love and happiness. His deepest Earthly love was for his "Ma" and his entire family. He was the popular, skateboarder bad boy in and out of school. He loved art and was good at drawing and was an amazing writer. He attended school in the Blue Earth and Fairmont, MN area and in Iowa. As we all know, he loved to work out and looked amazing showing off his efforts. Chris loved fast, loud cars and even louder motorcycles. He was alive when he was out riding. It was his Church. He was free. He loved music and was a self-taught musician. He loved guitars and played them every chance he could. He wrote his own songs that you just knew came from his heart and his soul when he played them for you. And we cannot forget the love he had for his fur babies, Ralphie and Kira. He was so proud to be an uncle and you could see it in every bit of him.

Chris was a man of faith with a loving soul. He believed in God and recently renewed his baptismal promises of his Christian faith. His heart was huge and compassionate. He was a positive spokesman for change and during his time on Earth, he empowered others with his own story and message. He loved sharing the Lord and all that He had helped Chris through.  Chris touched many lives and will be missed by all who had the opportunity to know him.

Chris is survived by his girlfriend Kristine Schnichels, his father Chuck, grandmother Violet Danielson, brothers Robbie (Melissa) Danielson, Jeremy Danielson, sister Loni Danielson, nieces and nephews Cole, Ben, Brett, Carson, Peyton, Kayden, Danyka, Preston, and Londyn, aunts and uncles Betty (Leroy) Klante, Floyd Tesdahl Jr., Judy Ring, Connie Tesdahl, Danny (Joan) Tesdahl, Linda Pautzke, Tammy (Randall) Kragenbring, Tony (Pebbles) Danielson, Jerry Danielson, Jeff Danielson, very close cousin Missy Jahnke who was like a sister, many other cousins, also brothers and family from New Life Treatment Center and Project Turnabout.

He was preceded in death by his "Ma", Patricia, grandparents Floyd and Sadie Tesdahl and Charles Danielson, uncle Gregory Danielson and aunts Charlene Danielson, Carol Danielson and Kathy Anderson.
