Brandon John Eichhorst, age 44, of Willmar, passed away Sunday, March 1, at the St. Cloud Hospital following a courageous fight against lung cancer.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. followed by his celebration of life service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 7, at the Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar. www.petersonbrothers.com

Brandon was born on April 14, 1981, in Willmar, Minnesota, the son of David and Jacqueline (Awe) Eichhorst. He grew up in Willmar, was baptized and confirmed at Calvary Lutheran Church and graduated from Willmar High School in 1999. Brandon attended RidgeWater College and earned his AA degree in Drafting and Design. On August 24, 2002, Brandon was united in marriage to Rachel Radabaugh. They made their home in the Willmar community and were blessed with three children, Isaac, Carson, and Kianna. He was employed for 20 years at Central Minnesota Fabricating (formerly West Central Steel) and for the past 5 years was employed with H & R Steel Detailing, working remotely from home. He was a life member of Calvary Lutheran Church. Brandon enjoyed watching his children’s sporting activities, being a host family for Stinger’s baseball players for the past 11 seasons and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Rachel of Willmar; three children, Isaac, Carson and Kianna; mother, Jackie Eichhorst of Willmar; brother, Brian (and Jessica) Eichhorst of New London; niece, Ella Eichhorst; and nephews, Owen Eichhorst and Axel Eichhorst. Also surviving are his father and mother-in-law, David and Betty Radabaugh of Willmar; sister and brother-in-law, Michelle and Chad Hage of Ironton; and nephew, Chase Hage; besides other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dave Eichhorst on September 30, 2025; and his grandparents, Clifford and Elaine Awe and Louis and Marion Eichhorst.
