Bradley "Brad" Lynn Henrickson, age 64, of New London and formerly of Willmar, passed away Tuesday morning, August 4, at his residence.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 12, at Calvary Lutheran Church. A private family interment will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Brad Henrickson Scholarship Fund are preferred. Bradley Lynn Henrickson was born on September 1, 1961, in Hallock, Minnesota to Odee and Alvina (Poolman) Henrickson. Brad attended Willmar schools and graduated from Willmar High School where he was voted most school spirit in the class of 1981. Brad attended the Brainerd Vo-Tech and returned to Willmar. Brad was employed at Walt’s Car Wash, Kandi Entertainment Center, and cleaned offices at Presbyterian Family Foundation and Divine House. Throughout Brad’s adult years, he enjoyed participating in the Special Olympics for track, bowling, and swimming, watching the Vikings, Twins, fishing, riding bikes, and loved going to high school sporting events. Brad also loved spending time with his family during the holidays, he especially loved seeing the little ones play. Recently Brad has enjoyed feeding the birds and watching Judge Judy.
He is survived by his parents, Odee and Alvina Henrickson; four siblings, Brian (Paula) Henrickson, Barb (Kyle) Roelofs, Bonnie (Suzanne Vickery) Henrickson, Brenda (Ryan) Haag; his nephew and nieces, Bailie (Derek) Baker, Logan (Britney) Henrickson, Mykaela (Paul) Harju, Zachary (Amanda) Roelofs, Jared (Alicia) Roelofs, Hayden (Ashley) Roelofs, Jack Haag and Caroline Haag; and great nieces and nephews, Henry, Griffin, and Aden Baker, Lena and Francine Henrickson, Briggs and Quinn Roelofs, and Riley Roelofs, besides other relatives and many friends.
Brad was preceded in death by his grandparents, Otto and Betsy Henrickson and Ernest and Caroline Poolman.
