Anthony "Tony" Kidrowski

Anthony "Tony" Paul Kidrowski, age 93, of Willmar, passed away Saturday morning, June 20, at his residence in Willmar under hospice care.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 25, 2020, at the Church of St. Mary in Willmar.  Interment will be in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. with a Knight's of Columbus prayer service at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24, at Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar.  Visitation will also continue for one hour prior to the service at the church on Thursday.  Arrangements are with Peterson Brothers Funeral Home.  www.petersonbrothers.com

Anthony “Tony” Paul Kidrowski was born on June 5, 1927, in Verndale, Minnesota, the son of Felix and Helen (Rudnick) Kidrowski.  He grew up and received his education in the Pennock community. On February 9, 1957, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Clements, Tony was united in marriage to Angeline “Angie”  Frances Groff.  They lived and farmed for over 45 years near Pennock before retiring and moving into Pennock in 2003.  Over the years, Tony owned and maintained several rental properties throughout the Willmar area.  He was a faithful member of the Church of St. Mary and the Knights of Columbus.  He enjoyed the farming life, mechanics, traveling and time spent with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Angie of Willmar; eleven children, Fran (and Dave) Oestreich of Willmar, Mary Wallace of Cloquet, Ilene (and Jim) Parker of Willmar, Joe Kidrowski of Willmar, Tom (and Tracy) Kidrowski of Kerkhoven, Don Kidrowski of Little Rock, AR., Susie (and Rich) Hanson of Apple Valley, Jean (and Ron) Polman of Cottonwood, Jon (and Jennifer) Kidrowski of Pennock, Jerry (and Jennifer) Kidrowski of Elk Mound, WI., and Pete (and Melissa) Kidrowski of Wabasso; thirty one grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.  Also surviving is a son-in-law, Gerard Morin of Minneota and a sister-in-law, Dorothy Kidrowski of Pequot Lakes, besides other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his step-father; one daughter, Patricia Morin; three grandchildren, Kevin Kidrowski, Jeremiah Kidrowski and John Johannes; one sister, Mary, and three brothers, Alex, Robert and Harry.
