Robert "Rob" Rodelius
Robert “Rob” Rodelius, age 68, of Willmar, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 9, at Carris Health Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 16, at Redeemer Lutheran Church. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 15, at Peterson Brothers Funeral Home and will continue for one hour prior to the service at the church. Robert “Rob” Ray Rodelius was born on January 1, 1953, in Willmar, Minnesota, the son of Nimrod and Lillian (Hanson) Rodelius. He grew up in Willmar, graduated from Willmar High School in 1971 and attended St. Cloud State University, majoring in business administration. On August 21, 1976, Rob was united in marriage to Debra Jean Heideman. They made their home in Montevideo until 1987, when they moved to Willmar. Rob was employed for over 33 years as an accountant for Theilen Oil Company in Montevideo, retiring in 2013. He was a huge fan of NASCAR. He enjoyed cars, racing, tinkering with numerous projects and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving wife, Debra of Willmar; three sons, Andrew (and Melanie) Rodelius of Willmar, Joshua Rodelius of Byron and Matthew Rodelius of Willmar and three grandsons, Brody, Kaden and Kamren, besides other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers, Michael, James, Mark and Paul Rodelius.
