Matthew Tait

Matthew A. Tait, age 47, of Willmar, died Saturday afternoon, June 16, at the St. Cloud Hospital from cancer.


A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 26, at the Oakside Cemetery near Atwater. There is no reviewal or visitation.


Matthew Adam Tait was born on January 21, 1971, in Willmar, Minnesota, the son of Gerald and Judy (Bloomquist) Tait. Matthew grew up in Anoka and graduated from Anoka High School in 1989. He worked as a carpenter in the construction business and enjoyed mechanics and working on small engines.


He is survived by one daughter, Abbigayle Tait of Rochester; one half-son, Gabriel Paulson of Rochester; one brother, Mike (and Lori) Tait of Pennsylvania and special friends, Anastasia Toth of Rochester and Tony (and Tina) Toth of Eden Valley, besides other relatives and friends.


He was preceded in death by his parents.
