Marilyn Darlene Leuze was born on October 4, 1938, in Murdock, Minnesota, the daughter of Henry and Adela (Buccholz) Noor.  She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith and grew up and received her education in the Murdock community.  On February 19, 1965, Marilyn was married to Donald Leuze and they made their home in Willmar.  Marilyn worked hard as a homemaker, waitress and babysitter.  The three most important things to her were her faith, family and friends.  She was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church, a card club and birthday club.  Marilyn’s talent as a gardener was obvious by her ability to grow bountiful produce in her garden and by the colorful array of flowers both inside and outside of her home. In the late summer you would find her busy canning string beans, tomatoes and making a wide variety of pickles.  She enjoyed listening to many kinds of music, and was a collector of porcelain dolls, Snowbabies figurines and Dept. 56 Christmas Village houses.  As much as Marilyn enjoyed going out for coffee and visiting with her friends, she was always sure to have a pot of coffee on just in case someone stopped by.  Marilyn truly had a soft spot in her heart for all her grandkids and loved spending time with them.

She is survived by her two sons, Doug (and Shelley) Leuze of Brooten and Dan (and Stefanie) Leuze of Willmar; one step-daughter- in-law Judy Leuze of Pennock; six grandchildren, Alex Tullis, Collin and Derek Leuze, and Joshua, Jason and Jacob Leuze; and six siblings,  Bill (Dorothy) Noor of Mound, Gloria (Leroy) Bridgland of Hopkins, Ellsworth (Vicky) Noor of Bloomington, Jerry Noor of Willmar, Stanley Noor of Willmar and Kevin (Janice) Noor of Everette, WA., one sister-in-law, Kathy Noor, and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald in 2001; step-son, Randy Leuze; grandson, Anthony Tullis; two brothers, Richard Noor and Roger Noor; six sisters, Arlene (Ervin) Leuze, Lucille (Ronald) Priebe, Phyllis (Clarion) Junker, Bernice (Donald) Colvin, Cheryl (Leonard) Klassen and Dorothy (Harlan) Skaalerud.
