Lois Seybert

Lois C. Seybert, age 90, of Willmar, died Thursday, January 8, at Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 13, at Bethel Lutheran Church in Willmar. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.

Lois Caroline Seybert was born on January 8, 1925, on a farm near Talmage, Nebraska, the daughter of Ernest and Clara (Neeman) Friede. She grew up and received her education in Nebraska City, Nebraska. On November 10, 1948, Lois was united in marriage to Ralph D. Seybert. They made their home in Nebraska City and Lois began working for the Lincoln Telephone and Telegraph Company. In 1967, they moved to Willmar. Lois was then employed at Habicht's Department Store and Miles Quale Insurance. Lois was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church and the Willmar Area Senior Citizens. She was a volunteer at the Kandiyohi County Humane Society. Lois enjoyed playing card games with family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Ralph of Willmar; one son, Michael (and Michelle) Seybert of Marionville, MO; three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Also surviving are three brothers, Marlyn (and Winnie) Friede of Edina, Gene (and Donna) Friede of Tuscon, AZ, and Jerry (and Kathy) Friede of Unadilla, NE, besides other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Carol Seybert.
