I was so sad to hear about Lane's death. He was one of my very first friends while growing up in Spicer. I can still picture him running through the neighbor's yards while making car sounds. Rest in peace, Lane.Sonja Johnson Westby

I remember sitting next to Lane is Diesel Class and working with him in the shop at Willmar AVTI an getting to know all about the lakes area from him. One fond memory of one 4th of July week end when we got to set up tents in the parents back yard and shared the basement Bar and the bathrooms with us. Priceless! Always had time to talk If we stopped off at the shop. My deepest sympathy to the family. Jeff Anderson (New Ulm & Diamond Lake)
