Karen Myers

Karen Ruby Myers (Henderson) was called home to heaven on November 22, 2021, at the age of 80.

Karen was born to Ralph and Clara Henderson (Rossaason) on March 2, 1941, in Montevideo, MN. She graduated from Granite Falls High School, Class of 1959.

Karen met her husband, Jack Myers, in 1959.They married on April 30,1960, and went on to have 3 children, Kenneth, Jerome, and Julie. They lived and raised their family on a small farm near New London.

Karen attended Willmar Community College for Cosmetology and Ridgewater College for Agriculture Management. She also worked for the Kandiyohi Boys group home for 18yrs as night watch staff.

In addition to being a dedicated and loving mother, Karen also loved gardening, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. She devoted a large portion of her time to the Church of GOD/Harvest Community Church since 1959. She led Sunday School and held various positions in her church and Women’s Missionary society. Throughout her entire life, she held an unwavering faith in God, which she shared with those who surrounded her. She will forever be loved and missed by all her family and friends.

Karen joins her parents Ralph and Clara and siblings in Heaven. She is survived by her husband Jack Myers, Her children Kenneth, Jerome and wife Tina, and Julie and husband Del, and her 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
