He loved the outdoors, fishing and watching sports and being with family and friends. Fred will always be remembered for his handy creative craftsmanship.
He is survived by his two daughters, Monica Durante and Brittany Durante, both of Elyria, Ohio; two grandchildren; his parents, Gloria and Phillip; three siblings, JoAnn (and Mike) Whelan of Willmar, Jenny Phillips of St. Cloud and Louie Durante of Willmar; besides several nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Rick Durante in 2016, and both his paternal and maternal grandparents.
Dear brother, I will cherish our childhood memories up until the present. You will forever be in my heart and memories. Your presence will be Forever missed. I know towards the end how much pain you were in and it hurt and affected me deeply. The only comfort I get from this is that you are in no more pain and no longer have to suffer. I will treasure your last voicemail to me with you wishing me a Happy Mothers Day! I Love you so much, and will forever miss you. Fly with your wings, rejoice up in heaven as you reunite with loved ones as they Celebrate and Welcome you home. Peace be with you. Until we meet again. Love, your sister JoAnn.

Love and prayers to Freddy's family and friends. We weren't tight but I'd call him friend . He parked by my door and if it was open and I was out with my pets we would shoot the breeze maybe a couple times a week, never a bad word. He talked a lot about his family, his nephew he hug out with, his sister who worked at the hospital, family was everything to him. Such a layback, kind man. I will truely miss him.
