Doris I. Pattison (Jacobson), loving wife, mother, sister, and friend, passed away on Thursday evening, October 1, at her home at the age of 87.

A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 10, at Vinje Lutheran Church in Willmar.  The funeral service will be recorded and available to view on the Vinje Church website or YouTube.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Divine Hospice.  Arrangements are with Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar.

Doris Irene Pattison (Jacobson) was born to Leonard Jacobson and Esther (Balgaard) Jacobson in Dickenson, North Dakota, on October 30, 1932.  She graduated from Elbow Lake High School in 1950.  She married Orvis Pattison on October 6, 1951.  They moved to Willmar, MN in 1959, when they opened the Bowladrome.  In 1962, they opened the Quik Stop, which grew from 1 restaurant to 18.  In 1972, they built the Timbers, a 24-hour restaurant located on the first street. When the Kandi Entertainment Center opened, Doris used her planning and decorating skills to make weddings and banquets a beautiful experience for all involved.

She is survived by her husband Orvis; four sons, Steven (Lynn) of Maple Grove, Jeff (Rita) of Spicer, Keith (Laurie) of Willmar, Mike (Sandi) of Crystal, and one daughter Cheryl (Patrick) of Reston, Virginia; fourteen grandchildren, Brent (Stephanie) of Mankato, Ian of Mound, William (Sarah) of Willmar, Michael (Linze) of Round Rock, TX, Annie (Fernando) of Pasadena, CA, Christina (Jacob) of St. Louis Park, Thomas (Brittany) of Lake Lillian, Benjamin (Christa) of New London, Jonathan of Willmar, Gabriel (Abbey) of Maple Grove, Zachary, Danielle of Crystal, Gamini of Erie, PA, and Samantha of Stanwood, WA; and fourteen great-grandchildren.  Also surviving are two brothers, Dale (Zona) of Morris and Harvey of Westminster, CA; and three sisters, Loraine of Detroit Lakes, Arlene of Virginia, MN, and Caroline (Dwaine) of Fargo, ND, besides other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Richard Jacobson.
