Dennis Wrobleski

June 27, 1942 — May 14, 2018

Dennis L. Wrobleski, age 75, of Willmar, died Monday morning, May 14, at his residence in Willmar following an extended illness.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 17, at East Norway Lake Lutheran Church in rural New London. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

Dennis LeRoy Wrobleski was born on June 27, 1942, in Appleton, Minnesota, the son of Joseph and Lily (Gaulke) Wrobleski. He grew up and received his education in the Benson community. On February 10, 1987, in South Dakota, Denny was united in marriage to Bonnie Clark. They made their home in Willmar where he was self-employed in various types of jobs. Denny looked forward to spending time with family and friends, and always had the coffee pot on. At get togethers, he was always the first one to arrive and the last one to leave; our little social butterfly. In his spare time, Denny enjoyed putzing around in the garage while listening to polka music. He enjoyed yard work, wood working projects, camping and fishing. He took great pride in being a jack of all trades and would tackle any project.

He is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie; three children, Joely (and Donnie) Bachman of Kirksville, MO, Shannin Nielsen of New London and Jesse Clark (and fiancé, Jessica Canfield) of Peoria, AZ; eight grandchildren, Shaye, Chase, Amber, Mariah, Marcus, Anthony, Macaela and Amaya; three great grandchildren, Eli, Ezekiel and Zembri. Also surviving are two brothers, Butch (and Linda) Wrobleski of Willmar and Alan (and Lori) Wrobleski of Benson; two sisters, Barb (and Boyd) Tomlinson of Kerkhoven and Kathy (and Dave) Thomas of Loveland, CO; mothers-in-law, Iola Broin of Willmar and Beverly Goodmund of Blomkest; and brothers-in-law, Gordon (and Rita) Goodmund of Gresham, OR and Gary Goodmund of Gresham, OR, besides other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents; one son-in-law, Troy Nielsen; one sister, Lorraine Andert and his fathers-in-law, Vernon Goodmund and Stan Broin.
