Dean A. Anderson, age 49, of Willmar, died Monday, June 18, at his home in Willmar.


Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 21. at the Church of St. Mary in Willmar. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are with Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar. www.petersonbrothers.com


Dean Arvid Anderson was born on January 27, 1969, in Willmar, Minnesota the son of Donald and Karen (Kunkel) Anderson. He grew up and received his education in Belgrade and Willmar communities. Dean lived in Willmar his adult life and was last employed at Grizzly's in Willmar. He enjoyed biking, walking, fishing and his cat, Zoe. Dean also enjoyed the time spent with his family and friends.


He is survived by his mother, Karen Anderson of Pennock; one sister, Marie (and Russ) Landreth of Twin Valley, three brothers, Leonard Anderson of Pennock, Anthony (and Heather) Anderson of Paynesville and Dennis (and Shanan) Anderson of New London; two aunts, Helen Anderson and Inez Anderson; and numerous nieces and nephews, besides other relatives and friends.


He was preceded in death by his father, Donald in 1992; his grandparents and several aunts and uncles.
