RoseAnn Warren

RoseAnn (Halsey) Warren, age 88, of Sun City, AZ, formerly of the Willmar area, died Sunday March 12 in Sun City, Arizona, following an extended illness.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 noon, Friday, May 26, at the Church of St. Mary in Willmar. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred. Local arrangements are with Peterson Brothers Funeral Home in Willmar. RoseAnn (Halsey) Warren was born on November 30, 1928 in Willmar, Minnesota, the daughter of Harriet (Hutchins) and George Halsey. She grew up and received her education in Willmar. On October 26, 1945, she was married to Delverne Gale (D.G. "Ben") Warren in Milbank, SD and they made their home in Willmar. They lived in Willmar, Maple Grove, Spicer and retired in Sun City, Arizona. She will be remembered as a skillful storyteller whose anecdotes always brought people together in high spirits; and a brave lioness in defense of her loved ones. The family wants to take this time to thank all the caregivers who assisted RoseAnn in her final months. To our dear mother, "We can no longer hold you in our arms, but you will ever be in our hearts".

RoseAnn is survived by her children; Judy Steinberg of Sun City, AZ, George (and Paulette) Warren of Cotton, MN, Jeffery (and Ann) Warren of St. Michael, MN and two grandchildren; Patrick (and Willow) Warren and Tyler Warren. Also surviving are many step grandchildren and nieces and nephews, besides other relatives and friends. All will miss her laughter and her loving care.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ben, son Michael Warren, son-in-law Harvey Steinberg, brother Donald Halsey and two sisters, Dorothy (and Robert) Korn and Marie (and Loren) Lindsoe.
