Jean "Toots" Jacobson, age 89, of Willmar, died Sunday morning, Aug. 10, at Bethesda Pleasant View Nursing Home.

Memorial services will be 10 am Saturday, August 30, at the Assembly of God Church in Willmar. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Arrangements are with the Peterson Brothers Funeral Home. www.petersonbrothers.com

Jean Jacobson was August 26, 1924, in Long Prairie, Minnesota, to Jalmer F. and Olga (Johnson) Wallin. She grew up on the northside of Willmar and attended school in Willmar. Jean worked at Wadrobe Cleaners until she met and married Cleon "Jake" Jacobson. They moved to Anoka and later to St. Louis Park, MN, where they both worked in the dry cleaning business. She enjoyed traveling, spending time with family and friends and yard work. She also enjoyed sewing and handiwork.

She is survived by two siblings, Vonnie Wallin of Willmar and Jerry (and Barb) Wallin of Plymouth; two sisters-in-law, Shiela (and Jim) Sandmeyer of Benson and Marcia Wallin of St. Paul, besides other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Cleon in 2010; one brother, Owen Wallin and after Jean's death, one sister, Mary Lou Olson.
