Nora Haubris

Nora A. Haubris, age 69, of Spicer, died Monday evening, Nov. 3, at Mayo Clinic in Rochester.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 7, at the Peterson Brothers Green Lake Funeral Home in Spicer. Interment will be at the Spicer City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 6, at the Peterson Brothers Green Lake Funeral Home in Spicer and will continue for one hour prior to the service on Friday. www.petersonbrothers.com

Nora Anne Haubris was born on August 27, 1945, in Watertown, Minnesota, the daughter of Charles and Ella (Raether) Foulkrod. She grew up in the Watertown community and graduated from Watertown High School in 1963. In 1972, Nora became employed at Sears in Minneapolis as a service technician repairing sewing machines. On August 15, 1975, Nora was married to Micheal P. Haubris and they made their home in Minneapolis. After over 30 years of employment with Sears, Nora retired and they moved to Spicer. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, crafts, fishing and being with her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband, Micheal of Spicer; one son, Patrick (and Debra) Smith of Brooklyn Center and four grandchildren. Also surviving are six brothers, Stephen (and Fran) Foulkrod of Simi Valley, CA., Chester (and Annette) Foulkrod of Mountain Grove, MO., Bruce Foulkrod of Farmington, Marc (and Jamie) Foulkrod of Moorpark, CA., Tim Foulkrod of Toledo, OH., and Neal (and Valerie) Foulkrod of Mobil, AL.; and four sisters, Kathryn Doolin of Kansas City, MO., Lisa (and Bruce) Barkley of Eagan, Wendy Foulkrod of Spokane, WA., and Jill Foulkrod of Belvidere, IL., besides other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
