Carol Ringler

Carol Ann Ringler, age 75, of Atwater, died Wednesday evening, July 20, at her home in Atwater.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 27, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Atwater. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, July 26, at the Peterson Brothers Atwater Funeral Home and will continue for one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday.

Carol Ann Ringler was born on August 29, 1940, on the family farm near Atwater, Minnesota, the daughter of Ervin and Adeline (Behm) Yungk. She grew up in the Atwater community and received her education in the rural country schools. In 1958, Carol graduated from Atwater High School and then received training to be an airline stewardess. On June 23, 1962, Carol was married to Dallis Rodney Ringler and they made their home in Atwater. Carol was employed for over 45 years at the Atwater State Bank. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and the Atwater Threshers Club. Her hobbies included flowers.

She is survived by her loving husband, Dallis of Atwater; one son, Brent (and Deb) Ringler of Belgrade; one daughter, Tina (and Todd) Phillips of Chisago City and five grandchildren, Riely and Jaedin Ringler and Madison, Jackson and Aristotle Phillips. Also surviving are two brothers, Dale (and Elaine) Yungk of Litchfield and Loren Yungk (and Sharolyn Swenson Boxwell) of Fifty Lakes, besides other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
